Young Women’s Project

The Young Women’s Project meets every Tuesday 6pm – 7.30.

We are run by and for young lesbian and bisexual women aged 14 – 25. We work to improve young lesbian and bisexual women’s health by promoting activities designed around six areas of wellness which are: physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, occupational and social/community.

As well as our weekly sessions we run residentials and have an allotment where we grow fruit and veg.

Take a look at our blog posts on the right hand side of this page to see what we’ve been up to.

Directions

We are currently located in Manchester City Centre up Oxford road, near to the Manchester Metropolitain University. The road which LGBT Youth Manchester is on is called Sidney Street. The biggest landmark near us is the BBC, we are just past this on the left, just before the 8th Day cafe and shop.

Our weekly sessions run 7.30 – 10pm every Tuesday and 3 – 7 pm on Saturdays. Take a look at our Events page to see what’s going on.
