Pink Box 2013 | LGBT youth north west

Pink Box is our annual art competition. Youth groups and schools from all over the regional are invited to take part by creatively celebrating lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans life, as well as challenging homophobia, biphobia and transphobia.

Each year the Pink Box competition takes on a different theme. In 2013, Pink Box launched the “Don’t Assume” campaign. Over twenty entries came into the competition, people at our event marking International Day Against Homophobia (IDAHO) on 16 May hosted by the Salford LGBT Youth Group got to vote for their favourites:
